Light remake

I have an old wheat head and I want to put a new cord and a 12v32X bulb and a L-Jack on it so I can use it on these newer battery packs. Will this work and who can do this if possible?
Thanks for any information on this!

.

Putting a new cord on shouldn't be a problem. The bulb you use should depend on the voltage of a battery pack you use. The brightness of the lights were determined by taking a lower voltage bulb and over powering it with the higher voltage of the battery pack. That is why so many blew if you went straight to high.
Sam Davis pioneered several of the bulbs used in the older light. If I was you. I would determine just what battery pack you were going to use and then contact him for the best bulb to you.

You can order one off of eBay cheaper than you can fix that one.
