I am hopeing that this thread can become some sort of an archive on the tucker line. if you have a tucker bred dog, would you please post a pic, pedigree and any hilights about your dogs pleasure or comp hunting achievements.

COWBOY
cowboy started his nite hunt career with two hunt wins put on him by joan dawson. these hunt wins came on joans 15th nite of coon hunting and 20th nite of coon hunting. these were the first two times she ever handled a dog in the hunts.
i started handling him as a night ch in 2004. he started of with a roar! 5 nite ch wins in 29 days. his first he scored 1200+ on a friday, then 825+ on saturday. i did not judge or guide either cast. he picked up two wins that were low scores but were his 2nd and 3rd high scoring male at walker sectionals. and the fifth win at an rqe in missouri valley iowa.COWBOY went on to pic up two moregrand nite ch wins at walker sectionals. another hilite that year was in madison north carolina when he made the final four of the minislam held on friday night of the world championship. there were 56 dogs in this hunt, and we scored 450+ on two coon.

2005 cowboy was named twbfa hunt dog of the year for his previous years accomplishments. he placed third at lee crawford invitational, won the grand nite ch at the kansas state championship. he won our local rqe with chad heinsius handling and won another walker sectional grand nite and king of hunt.

2006 we decided to check ou t south eastern walker days. we won our cast on thursday all walker hunt with 575+ we understand that this was 4th of 81 dogs. we won our cast on friday with a low score and won again on saturday with 775+ . saturday was one of cowboys best two hour performances ever.he avoided a slick ,got plussed to pull away from the pack. besides the 775+ he had a coon in a cedar tree thet we saw after the ten was up, one caught in a hole and one treed on timeout. we understand that he was 5th high score of 263 dogs that night. at walker days, we placed in lee crawford again, getting 10th, and won our cast on saturday with 575+. cowboy then got second in the amherst rqe. we realized we were 4 of 5 in purina so we made a trip to black and tan days in missouri. we got in the purina contender cast drawing the wild man sam dog. we won that cast. we were now 5 of 6 in purina casts. it should be noted that we judged none of these casts. we got beat the next nght by lawton robinsons dog then two weeks later beat twice by jet 8. we decided to call it quits on purina at 5 of 9. we ended the year at 6 of 11 after the world semis. cowboy also won the minnesota state championship with 1050+ . this made it his 2nd state championship (kansas and mn) and the second tucker dog to win the mn state.

2007 lee crawford 5th place. fall creek rqe fifth place.
to be continued..............
continued-2008 boone iowa walker sectional grand winner.
2008 rqe first place winner/wanamingo mn 675+.
2008 walker days double cast win 450+ friday on two coon. drew abe and jeannie friday.
more to come!

Wins: I believe he made nite ch by winning in 3 different states (Minnesota, Wisconsin and North Dakota) Won an rqe at a year old, and got 2 more, 1st place wins. He won the 2007 minnesota state youth hunt with 475+. Has 1 win towards grand nite right now, with another nite ch cast win. Unless unexpected major setback should be gr nite ch by next summer.

congratulations lake hainz

lake handled credit river tucker at the youth nationals to a sixth place finish out of 94 dogs. the eleven year old tucker had only 150 points but thats all it took in the tough conditions of north carolina! lakes dad hauled tucker to indiana last week to breed a female and decided to give the old feller one more shot at the trophy case. thanks bart and lake.
