In a message dated 4/15/2012 11:08:18 A.M. US Eastern Daylight Time,

Hi, my name is Leigh Ann Combs and I have in my possession a very young
unspayed female redbone coonhound that has recently had puppies. She wandered
into my yard on Easter Sunday. I will forward you the emails that I sent
to Animal Control on Monday morning to legally notify them that I had a
"found" dog if you need the documentation.

She is currently in a crate in my garage and I am feeding, watering and
walking her every two hours. She is very sweet and docile with infected
ears. I have a microchip scanner that is my rescues and she does not have a
microchip.

On Monday afternoon I accepted a male blue tick coonhound that was also
found in my neighborhood- he is very young, unaltered and underweight just
like the redbone female. They are very comfortable with each other and it is
evident that they are mates or from the same home.

Both dogs are non aggressive, very friendly and docile.

Please contact me as soon as possible regarding the possibility of your
rescue accepting them into your organization. These are two great
dogs....young and in need of some much needed weight gain and human contact. I am
doing everything I can to get them into rescue rather than take them to Animal
Control.

I look forward to hearing from you soon. PLEASE consider taking these two
sweet dogs into your program.

Hello,
My name is Dawn Ambrose and I am the assistant director with the Mt.Juliet Animal Control here in Mt.Juliet TN. I have a Walker in need of a rescue. Her name is Ardell and she is around 2-3 years old, 40 pounds and already spayed. She is UTD on all vaccines, wormed, and frontlined. I can have her heartworm tested with confirmation of rescue. She has been fine with other dogs at the shelter but has not been tested with cats. She is a typical Walker full of energy and ready to run. Ardell has not tried to escape from our property by climbing or digging. She is wonderful with all of the volunteers, men, women and children. I can transport! Whatever we need to do to get this sweet girl into a safe place. She was found as a stray with an orange hunting collar on. We held her the stray period and no one has reclaimed her. He is about 5 months old, perfectly healthy & sociable. He gets along well with other dogs. His bay can be heard for about 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile. He was found last week at the elementary school.

There is no shelter in the town, so if his owner (or any hunter) doesn't come to claim him fairly soon, he will be sent to a rescue group, neutered, and end up in a pet home where his loud mouth will probably cause trouble.

Alvin TX, leopard hound, Lazy Creek Kennels collar

The pound in Alvin Texas has what looks to be a leopard hound with a collar that says "Lazy Creek Kennels" and a dead phone #. Might just be a grade hound. Missing (2) Male Blueticks in NCWV

Approximately two days ago I had two male blueticks go missing in North Central WV. They were last seen in a remote area on the Marion and Wetzel county lines.

If you see, hear, or know anything about a couple male blueticks then please call.

Male one is taller and lighter versus the other male which stands shorter and is a lot darker. Both dogs are wearing two collars each. Contact information is also on the collars.
