I like that idea and will bring it up this weekend.
I’m going to a $30 1 hour double header Friday an hopefully Saturday, I let you know if they pay anything back along with how many dogs hunt.

$30 one hour double header last night no pay back.
1st round Hunted 7 Reg 2 Ch
2nd round 3 Reg 1 Ch. if a dog only hunted the late Round he could possibly make GrNt with out any competition.

Our club entrys are listed at $20 on all our hunts. So if it's a 2 hr hunt its 20 bucks. If we have a double header its 20 bucks. That 20 bucks gets you into both 1 hr hunts. If you decide to only hunt 1 round that is your choice. Plus we provide supper and drinks for free at the hunt.

Now we are having mostly double headers. But what we have heard from everyone that shows up is that our hunts are to cheap to pass up. Been averaging around 20 dogs per hunt. Are the numbers great maybe not but I feel they are decent. After our ukc fees and our food costs we are still clearing around 100 to 150 per hunt. As long as we are keeping bills paid and putting on good hunts I'm happy with that. Our club doesn't need a bug fat bank account we need hunters that want to come back to our club. This has worked for our club so far. Also our club members do a lot of traveling to other clubs for their hunts. We support them they support us that's how it works.

All the pkc 1 hr hunts I’ve been to are $30, they have decent crowds. This week is a breed hunt and it’s $35, to cover $20 going to the cast guides. But they also pay cast wins, according to attendance.
