I got mine at a store in Ponca City that sells water filters,spaws and swiming pools. It was around $20.00 for a twenty five pound bag.

That's all I've used for the past year and checkups at the vet confirm they are worm free... Don't be a skeptic, try it for yourself .

Thanks, I hadn't read that but I figure if it is used in water filters it won't be to deadly. I think they put the disclamer/ warning in there so a person would pay $ 75.00 for what would cost them less than a about a dollar a pound. Kind of like the warning on vet supplys not being used on human. I have used it for a long time and hasn't hurt me. I gave my dogs the filter grade a couple months ago and again the last 2 days.
Hope it doesn't kill them but I guess they will be the testers. lol

Saltwater Diatom are used in Filters ..

And the FDA only allows the Freshwater type for Consumption in Humans and Animals ..

I just don't know the Difference ... Maybe it the Actual Shape ...

I only used Diatom Filters in Fish Tanks ...

I don't know the differance either in appearence the filter stuff is a more pure white but that is the only differance but Quality water in Ponca City uses it in filtering swimming pools and spaws. I put a round of it threw them a couple months ago and another three days of it and this is the third day. I allso rubed it on them and poured it around in there kennels so if it kills them we should know pretty quick.
