Bacterial infection on dogs skin

Does any know how to get rid of a bacterial infection on a dog. The dog has been on 750 milagram antibiotics and probiotic pills for a month and half and a bath in antifungal shampoo dailey. After that didn't work we tried dipping the dog in lime sulfer dip a few time.

I’d like to know some ideas as well. Two different vets just kept throwing antibiotics at a dog I had and he never did get over it. I think they tried 6 different antibiotics and steroids on him to no avail.

Is it localizes or over the whole dog?

I would think it is fungal rather than bacterial.

All over the whole body

I went threw the same thing I started spraying blue coat on the spots everyday less than two weeks stopped spreading and now the hair is growing back

What I am writing I did not believe when it was suggested to me. But I have seen the results and it works.

Many years ago I was a fan of Diamond Hi Pro dog food. Then they hit a few bumps in the road and I went away from them.

I have a dog that on both sides of him the hair will thin to the point of almost being gone. I spray some stuff one him, I wash him regular and it doesn't go away.

About a year ago I had a friend tell me to feed him Diamond Hi Pro and his problem would go away. That worked but after he was fine for about six months I got tired of buying two brands of dog food and put him back on what the other dogs eat. In about two months the issue with thinning hair was back. Last week I put him back on Diamond. He is looking better already. I can't explain it and he may be the only dog that this would work for. But seeing is believing.

Absolutely could be a feed problem. Years ago I was feeding a certain brand. One dog in kennel had constant skin issues. Friend was adamant it was the feed. well I thought it sounded stupid because none of the other dogs had problems but I took his advise. Skin problem cleared up and never had problems again with that dog.

Had another guy I knew his wife would get terrible ECZEMA out breaks. She was on prescriptions and ointments. Between the two of them they noticed it was worse after she ate certain foods. She began avoiding them and she got off meds entirely.

My question . To any vet or human doctor. Okay you give me prescriptions,antibiotics, and ointments. Great that is treating the problem BUT IT IS NOT FINDING OR TREATING THE "CAUSE" of the problem.
Figure that out and you got it fixed.
