dna registration
We have a debate going about accidental breedings may be you guys who breed and raise pups can answer or at least give an opinion suppose a female is in heat and dog 1 is placed in her kennel and they mate the next day dog 2 is placed with her and they mate neither dog 1 or 2 or any other dog is placed in kennel The female catches and has eight puppies there is no way that simply by looking these pups could be registered is my humble view. However I argue that with the DNA profiling system if you would dna both males and the female you could then dna the individual pups and register them accordingly this would cost more but I say with UKC's vast data base and dna capabilities this could be accomplished What say you
DNA
You can do what you are talking about , but you have to have the female both males an all the pups. Dna'ed . Ukc has registered pups that way for awhile or did . As long as they are the same breed
You are correct, but both the female and males have to be DNA done . Then all the pups. I had it done and it is not cheap so be ready you have to pay for each one indivually . And my litter turned out to be all from one male so good luck

It doesn't have to be an accidental breeding .
That's the pros of DNA , you can breed two sires to one dam and register the pups accordingly .
Speeds up a breeding program and keeps everybody honest !
The cost is $45 per dog . A one time fee , if the dog needs to be re-done it is free.
