Haze has a few females lined up for this year.......including a grand nite female directly out of rusty red.

I will have to dig him out of the snow and put leg warmers on him if I bring him, I may have to put some ear muffs on him too. He needs a treadmill to get back in shape.......to much snow here, can you tell?

buck's been sitting in front of the tv with his feet up eating Twinkies with a space heater pointed at him......

we've hunted once, monday night and treed one......I didn't know if buck was going to make it to the tree or not......he was crunching through the snow and me and jason were walking on top of it.

Boy Ol' Buck sure is easy to pick on. Mike you forgot the part of having to stop and lets say, take care of a little buisness on the way to the tree. He sure did break through that snow. Every step of the way.

I think the egg sandwiches made it all good though.

Hey.....I love Twinkies....and brownies.......and cookies......and rice crispy treats......and I won't even mention "ice cream" I think buck would rather have a bag a chips though.

seriously though......we haven't been doing any hunting because of the weather and the way it looks it won't be any better before we head out to southern.....oh well. we'll just go and have a good time.

Had a great time at Southern Redbone Days. It was great to see all of our friends and we did meet some new folks this year so that is always great.

We came home with some hardware and so that is always a plus.

That's about right Richard...he looks good...on the wood. I love it when they show interest at a young age but it sure makes it hard to wait for them to grow up a little more...eh?

Pups come on when they come on...there's really no script that dicates what will happen. A little exposure now and then and anyone willing to get with the program gets a little extra attention but it doesn't mean others who don't show interest early, won't come on at some point and make a dog.

There's nothing better than seeing those youngsters start reacting to their instincts...it's good stuff...eh?

Oh...and by the way...he does look like a young Moose on the wood...that's something to look forward to for sure...
