Dual Grand H&H's Hooked Deep Houdini HTX

After discussing promoting Houdini between my partner and I we have decided to introduce him to the public. We believe that Houdini will pass his traits on to his off spring and throw that independence and accuracy back into the walker breed. Houdini has not been pushed hard in the hunts but we have high expectations for 2014. Houdini is one of the loudest hounds that has ever walked in the woods. He has a loud bawl on track and follows it with a big dying three bawl locate that a baby could call and then rolls it over to a constant bawl/chop on the tree. Houdini is one of the most accurate hounds that I have ever owned. Houdini is off Mr. Clean and Miss Kitty. Kitty goes back to World Champion Mac Attack and World Champion Charley Creek Terra and on the bottom side she falls back to Skuna River Fred. Houdini will be paid up as a Performance Sire and Super Stakes Sire for 2014 but we are starting to promote him now so the public can see what Houdini has to offer. Houdini is located in Southwest Virginia and we are 1 hr from TN 1 hr from NC 1 hr from WV 1 hr from KY. If anyone has any questions or comments or just wants to watch this hound do what he loves to do in the woods you can contact Shane Hall at 276-337-9782 or Josh Honaker at 276-210-4339.

Houdini just sired a litter of 10 pups with 6 females and 4 males. The pups are 7 weeks old right now and have already been exposed to a hide and they show a lot of interest. These pups are SS but not performanced. This was Houdini's first litter and he threw an above average number of pups. Houdini has been checked by the vet and was tested and verified to have a high sperm count.

Well Congratulations To My Partner Josh For Getting Houdini Through The Zones And Making It In The Top 100. Wish Us Luck This Coming Weekend. It Would Be Awesome To Bring Home The World Title!!!!!!

Well We Didn't Come Home With A Win From The World But We Are Still Proud Of Houdini!!!!!! Pretty Dang Impressive To Start With Over 5000 Dogs Competing In The RQEs And Then Over 600 In The Zones And Us Make It To The Top 100. This Was houdini's First Year Being QualifieD At The First RQE He Was Entered In And Went To The zones And Advanced His Way To The Top 100. But Houdini Will Be No Stranger To The Winners Circle And Has A Big Future Ahead Of Him Since He Just Turned 2. This Just Shows That He Is One Of The Top competitors And Just Watch Out For Next Year Because The Great magician Houdini Himself Will Be Showing His TrIcks When You Least Expect It.

Headed to Greenville, TN tonight and tomorrow night to the East TN Jamboree. Should be a good start to win some money for the VA State race.

The reports that we are getting on Houdini's first litter are outstanding!!!! We have a female out of the first cross and she was up on the timber with her ol man Saturday night. She is only 3.5 months old but she went over 400 yards with Houdini and was barking up the tree on two different drops. This little female is gonna be an over powering tree dog and by the looks of things she is gonna have the drive also.

Dixie still has approximately 3 weeks left before the pups are born and from the looks of things she is gonna have one of her usual sized litters of 10+ puppies. These pups will be performanced and super staked. Dixie is not a brood bitch, you can bring the best measuring stick you have and she will measure all coon dog. Dixie should have been finished out years ago, but with babies being borned and becoming a family man my competition hunting has slowed down. My partner and I do plan on finishing her out to grand after the pups are weaned and plan on taking her to the PKC World in 2014. Dixie is Cowee Creek Clint on top (grand pup off clint) and her dame is off Ol Souths Stylish Rebel. These pups will be at Southeastern Treeing walker days and the pups out of Houdini's first litter have a head full of sense, not shy or backwards, and with the female that my partner and I kept and her only being 4 months old my partner and I have not exposed her to the woods to much but she had two coons shot out in front of her Tuesday night and she shows no sign of fear. As soon as the coons hit the ground she is in there for the fight. Houdini has a bright future, both in the winners circle and as a reproducer. If any one has any questions and would like any further information don't hesitate to contact Josh or myself.
