RIP Charles Martens, Vicksburg, MI

The United Kennel Club hunting beagle program has lost one of the most dedicated, hard-working and honest sportsman to ever be involved in this program. Charlie was a great example of what this sport is about and all of us can learn from his example. I speak on behalf of beaglers around the country when I say we will miss spending time in the field with a great man.

Probably the classiest guy to ever enter a dog in a UKC event! Guys like him made this sport incredible.

I agree he was a Great Man and I enjoyed seeing him every year at the Nationals.
