Any body get tired of looking at these play but plays of supposed to be the best of the best in the coonhunting world and its :

All dogs struck under the minute all dogs scatter either end up treed slick or deep with a coon.

I mean they was struck off the snap hot what happened ?

Numbers are down because people don't want to hunt with that crap no more !

After the first three minutes minuse their butt for that crap.

Don't competition hunt so my opinion may not matter but I cannot abide, will not have a mouthy babbling dog. But I also believe you can stop one from doing it. That's what a correction collar is for.

Would you rather stand around for 10 mins and wait in silence and have them just fall treed in there? No because that's against the rules lol

Saying you don't want to hunt with high end strike dogs is saying you don't have one. If you cant beat them join them that's my opinion. If your consistently getting out struck and beat because of it well that's on you and your dog. If I get out struck I better tree 1 more coon than the rest of the cast and I wont have to worry about it. JMO.

You guys just don't seem to get it. These dogs that Tar is referring to have bred, raised and trained to put points on the scorecard under the rules that govern that scorecard. And the fact that the very dogs Tar is talking about are the very dogs that are in these play by plays shows they have been well trained to play the game and they do, in fact, play it very well. It's a game. You got dogs coached by Bill Belecek and you got dogs coached by Huge Jackson. You may hate those Belecek dogs but that don't stop them from winning.

Yeah, I don't care for them either but being almost totally a pleasure hunter anymore, those types have zero effect on my coonhunting life.

Honesty in dogs reflect the honesty in owners. Whatever it takes to win. No more honest than an ace up your sleeve. If I have to lie and cheat to win think I'll stay at home. Seems to be the opinion of most honest hunters. And people wonder why entries are down.

Honest observation from someone who does alot of sitting around club houses listening. 9 x out of 10 those who think they got cheated didn't know the rules of the sport, very seldom did they actually get cheated.

Jen I will take their high end strike dog with me guiding for every(coon seen ) they tree after they strike off the snap I will give them $20 for every strike off the snap no ( coon seen ) they give me $20 all night from dark till daylight.

I got as cold as nosed dogs as anybody and it's sometimes 700 yrds before we strike a coon. Only reason they get by with it is because it's allowed.

I knew what you were up to lol. What many here my not realise is that some of the winningest dogs are near stone silent.
My post is geared toward those who blame other dogs and cheaters for their not winning or wanting to hunt in a hunt. A huge % of the time when you lose your dog didn't tree enough coon or handler error not because dogs were barking or cheating occurred. Some you win some your gonna lose but one thing is for sure there is another tomorrow night unless it's Sunday.
Another thing I've learned is that a PBP never gives a true account of what is happening in the woods.
Still a medium size dummy but I like cupcakes so I could someday be a big dummy lol,

Well I missed the hot topic last night I guess it went to a nice place it is gone now. Went rabbit hunting this morning just ate my two frozen burritos used to get four but Mrs tar is cutting me back lol. Now I can focus buuuut it has come to common place because the majority of the cast does it. Sooner or later it will cost you a hard loss even if you have a dog that opens quick. I am fixen to find out got a buddy wants me to travel with him some after a few cast we will finish this conversation.

A anouther back in the day thing was if you struck your dog on the babble on purpose what you got would not be written on the card lol.
