showtime black vs value pak Black

Got a dog almost 2 years old been feeding him showtime but I am switching to black value pak now. Going to try it at least during the winter. Anybody have similar peoblems with showtime? The dogs ate the value pak much quicker seemed to like it more at least. Besides ivermectin every month what else can I give to him with just to make sure he doesn’t have worms?

Any advice would be helpful
