7th Annual Eastern Carolina Challenge will be held November 9th.

The 7th annual Eastern Carolina Challenge will be held November 9th in Kenansville, NC. It will be held at the Duplin County CHA clubhouse located at 1273 Ward's Bridge Road, Kenansville, NC. Nice prizes will be awarded to everyone who places in the hunt and show. The overall hunt winner will receive $500 and a Dakota light. We will have a new format to determine the overall nite hunt champion. There will be a hunt off consisting of the two highest scoring champion cast winners and the two high scoring registered cast winners. The overall show winner will receive $100. Must be a member of NCCHA to compete for overall in hunt or show. Deadline for the bench show is 1:00 PM with a $20 entry fee and Deadline for the hunt will be 7:00 PM with a $30 entry fee. Great food will be served all day. Please start making your plans to attend.

Please make your plans to attend. We put a lot of effort into putting on quality events for the hounnds people of North Carolina and we need your support to make them successful.

Ok, everyone, after many months of hyping this event up, tomorrow is the big day. A lot of work goes on behind the scenes to make this event a enjoyable one for everyone, please make all this worthwhile by coming and participating in this event. I hope to see you all there.

The final cast consisted of Kenny Jones hunting Jim, Will Wood hunting Frisky, and Jan Pritchard hunting Izzy and the winner is Kenny Jones and Jim. Thanks to everyone who came out and made this hunt a success. There were 7 dogs in the show and 24 in the hunt.
