Very serisouly doubt they will have one this year with all the stink the HSUS made last year and a bill has just been introduced in the SC Legislature banning live bear bays....

If they hold these events they will not be sanctioned events as AKC and UKC have told both organizations that they will not sanction any event with a live bear or hog.

The AKC has disassociated itself with the APA. They fully supported these events when they were beneficial to their interests, but when all the controversy occurred they tucked their tail and abandoned the APA.

The dates are listed above.

This event has been on the 3rd weekend of March every year in recent memory.

APA 2011 Breed Days
March 17, 18 and 19

The NCBHA wants to invite our members to the American Plott Association (APA) Breed Days will be held in Hickory Grove, SC on March 17,18, and 19, 2011. Big Game Events on Friday and Saturday.

From I-85: Exit 96 South on Hwy 329, turns into Hwy 105. Go 15 miles, turn left on Hwy 211. Go 2 miles and turn right on Scenic View Road. Turn left on Howell's Ferry Road to Breed Days.

From I-77: Exit 82A a Rock Hill to York on Hwy 161. Turn left on Hwy 321 past York, then righ on Hwy 49 in Sharon, turn right on Hwy 211, then left on Hwy 97, then right on Howell's Ferry Road to Breed Days.

NCBHA 2011 Annual Field Event
All NCBHA members are invited to our Annual Field Day to be held in Cowpens, SC, on March 5th, 2011. This is a NCBHA family event intended for the enjoyment of our members and their families. Membership renewals are due in January; please send in your renewals and dues. New memberships are available the day of the event. No video equipment, cameras or imaging devices of any kind are allowed on the property at anytime. Violations will result in the surrender of film, tape or clearing digital drive.
