Dakota 2

This is another video of dakota with the first live squirrel he has seen. Todd said he let the squireel out and Dakota ran it up a tree where he treed really well on it. Not to bad for a 3 month old pup. Good breeding and putting time in them will make squirrel dogs. Plan to make this cross again real soon.

The first liter from cracker and tiny had 6 pups that survived. I have received updates on 5 of those that are either treeing or starting to tree

This female will be bred to cracker sometime this spring. She is a young dog with a lot of nose that can tree using all her senses. I will be keeping a female and a buddy from north Carolina will be getting one as well. Should be a great cross of early starting natural tree dogs.

Took cracker this morning and made 5 trees. I saw 3 but didn't get any. I shot at two with my 22 as they were timbering but just couldn't connect. These grey squirrels are wild. The tree in the video was the 4th tree we made it took me 26 minutes to get to the tree. After 15 more minutes i found the squirrel and shot at it 3 times before it went inside a hole. Cracker was still treeing so i shot this clip. You can see him looking back at me like come on buddy i did my part.

3 month old pups from cracker sally cross

This is 3 different pups from the cracker and sally cross I made. There were 5 in the liter and these are the only 3 I have been able to keep up with. All 3 owners said they had great noses and will smell up trees looking for a squirrel. The female standing on the tree actually trailed a few squirrels to trees and has barked in a couple of them.
