Changing the breed of my dog

If I change the breed of my dog from American Pit Bull Terrier to American Bully will it affect anything on my dog registration. Will I lose his Purple Ribbon status.

Yes, you would lose the Purple Ribbon status and on the new papers, any dog in the pedigree that is registered as an APBT, it would show the dog's name but not the UKC number.
