Hound feet!!!!!
I have a question for everyone I was talking to a friend of mine and I asked her if she is going to be hunting her hound and she said no because they will probably only be showing him because hunting them will ruin there feet ! She also said you can’t do both hunt and show ? Is this true? Are is someone just blowing smoke up her a$$?
Definitely not true on both and that's a proven fact

Hound feet !!!!!
All of my many hounds Gr.CH.Water CH.and Field trial CH.have been shown ,field trials and swam.I do not comp hunt. They have run over anything from boulders to ice. They either have good feet or not.Terrain has never been an obstacle. They had tough strong legs and feet.I met a person once who show'd Walkers and would trailer his hounds to the water so they did not have to walk on the gravel road.A well rounded dog is built to take the work.Form follows function, built well works well.Too many pretty dogs do not help any breed.Well that's my thoughts.
