Plotts on Coyote?

What line of Plotts would work best on Coyote?

The coon lines have been bred to be very independent and tree-minded. This wouldnt make for great running hounds.

steffan, i doesn`t make a difference if they`re tree minded or not. all my redbones are tree minded and they pound yotes during the season. when bear season rolls around, they tree just fine too. you`re not going to quit coonhunting i hope, just getting some yote hounds.

Not sure.......maybe......new shift at work is making it hard to coon hunt. I have been back and forth about this many times......I don't have time for both. Indecisive.

Steffan, don't worry about which line of plotts. Most of the ones I've seen would rather fight than tree anyway...

Don't mind Forest Steffan, he can be a very narrow minded man....

You want to come and look at coyote dogs, come up this way, I know a young kid that has them and hunts them pretty hard. I am thinking he could at least get you going in the right direction. There are quite a few coyote hunters up this way.

Ron, PM me your number and a good time to call. I know there are quite a few "groups" up that way that run yotes.

PS....I don't listen to forest....he's just as crazy as I am.
