Coon hunting road trip.

Me and a buddy are looking at going to a few other states to hunt next year and wanted to know what are the best states to hunt public land? We are in GA and looking into maybe Kentucky, Tennessee Ohio or maybe a even Arkansas. Just looking for some input from folks who could help point me in a direction to start looking.

If you get near southern Indiana around Louisville Ky let me know. There is a large amount of state land in my county (Harrison County) and about 40 minutes west of that is the Hoosier national forest.

Public land

How far do you want to travel, I have about 5000 acres public land that runs for about 20 mile stretch a long a slow moving river. Mid Oct best time to hunt. Central Michigan and we have a lot of coon and big ones
