hold Power button down longer. may take up to up to 30 seconds or longer
Try to Update the collar with the web updater
If the collar don't power off try to master reset
your supposed to do this with the collar already off so hopefully it turned off. I did this for a guy one time on a dc40 and I had to unplug the battery to get the collar power turned off .
Connect charging clip to collar
Connect USB cable to collar
Connect USB cable to power source (computer or AC wall adapter)
Ensure collar light is on to confirm connection
Firmly press the Power button 4 times (each button press should produce a quiet tone from the collar)
Wait for light to turn green then red
Disconnect USB cable and charging clip from collar
try updating again after reset

Haven't tried any of this yet. I have had this Collar for almost 5 years and the first problem I have had with it.
Might be easier for me to just Buy another Collar....😁😁

You made $100 in 25 seconds. Can't do that everyday.
