cold nose plotts?

What are everyones choice of cold nosed plotts? I've been through several and can't find many with a cold nose! So what strain of plotts are y'all using that have a pretty decent nose?

plotts

My uncle started with a brandenburger plott out of pioneer brindle Tyler and got a female from Roy stiles they both had cold nose! The female didn't have the speed of the male! I got 3 littermates and one has been cold trailing since 8 months old and was running by 3 months old! There half hicks and the rest is weems allison an swampland! Like em alot so far!

plott dogs

First let me say i prefer walkers and english dogs, but you have to give credit where credit is due. I have hunted with alot of plotts from different lines, but thru and thru i have been more impressed with the laurel mtn line then any others. I seen some really nice hicks breed plotts that was off one certain dog but that dog is dead now.
if you like fast dogs with grit and a medium to cold nose, try some of the laurel mtn dogs.

Cascade are as hot nosed as they can get. They are mainly catch dogs.

Weems

No experience with dollins. The weems line of plott has produced several outstanding noses for me both in the air and on the ground. Had several white hollow plotts that were awesome bear dogs, but lacked the exceptional nose. Pocahontas has produced some good noses for me, but again not the exceptional nose that has come from the weems breeding.

sure there's a cold nosed plott out there somewhere. I've just never seen one. everyone's definition of cold nose is different though too.
