Sole Ownership

What was UKC stance on breaking up co ownerhip of dogs. In example Dog A owned by John Duke and or Luke Duke. Now its either owned by John Duke as sole owner and then the papers shows successors. Can someone explain?

We were having a lot of problems with the and/or partnerships as far as signing papers go. That's why we changed it to the Sole Signatory being the only one who can do the signing of the paperwork. Additional owners would be listed as Successors. They would be listed on the papers but would have no signing responsibilities.
