North Carolina state hunt/show will be held on October 9th and 10th.

The North Carolina State Hunt and Show will be held on October 9th and 10th. It will be held at a new location, the Stanley County Fairgrounds located in Albermarle, NC. The address is 24302 South Business NC 52, Albermarle, NC 28301. Bench show deadline on Friday is 6 PM with a $20 entry fee. Nite hunt deadline is 8 PM with a $35 entry fee. This is a 90 minute hunt. On Saturday, October 10th, the NCCHA annual state meeting will be held at 12:00 noon, all clubs are reminded to send two representatives to speak for their club for the matters that will be discussed at the meeting. Bench show deadline on Saturday is 2:00 PM with a $20 entry fee. Nite Hunt deadline is 7:00 PM with a $35 entry fee. This is a 60 minute hunt. There will be a hunt off on Saturday night between the two high scoring dogs from Friday night and the two high scoring from Saturday night to detemine the overall state champion. The winner of the final cast will receive $1000. The overall winner of the bench show will receive $200. Opposite sex winner will receive $100. Nice prizes will be awarded to everyone who places in the hunt and show. Clubs are reminded that club dues must be paid at the state hunt for their members to be eligible to compete for overall in the hunt or show. Club dues are $50. Please also bring a membership list. If you would like to mail your dues and membership list prior to the state hunt, you can mail them to Jeffrey Robinson, 89 Mill Creek Church Road, Roseboro, NC 28382. You must be a member of a club or buy a individual membership to be eligible to compete for overall in the hunt or show. Individual membership will be available the day of the event for $20.Food will be served throughout the event. Also remember that we will be having our basket raffle as well as the raffle for the Henry Golden Boy. Please mark your calendar and plan on being in Albemarle in October.

The North Carolina State championship starts two months from today.

Please plan on bringing the kids and their Halloween costumes. We are going to have a Halloween party on Saturday morning starting at 11 AM
