UKC Pick 'Em Contest Reminder !!
Those of you who have been sitting back and doing all your research to handicap the World Hunt don't forget to place your picks at the window before post time of 5:00 p.m.
It's obvious who your favorites are from the posts in the other thread. What I want to know is, which longshots do you think have a live chance of hitting the board? You know one of them will.

I just heard from Trevor. Every hound in the finals has at least 3 votes except for 1. There is 1 dog that does not have any votes. And before you ask, no, I don't know which dog has no votes. If I did, that is the one I would be picking.
Here's hoping all your picks are in different casts tonite!

Timber Knockin Tex great grandpup is my long shot pick.
My long shot pic was a dog from Iowa. Not gonna mention his name but had to go with one of the in-state guys! Pulling for the English dog from the mountains of SE Kentucky! Got a couple of the "Big Name" dogs in my pics as well! "Lets get it on"
Picks
I based my 6 picks entirely on double cast winners that also had good scores on the second night. Seems like dogs that score good in later rounds on grounds that have already been hunted have better nose power and coon treeing ability. I have noticed that a "low profile" hound from a homegrown breeding program will steal the top prize a lot of times in past world hunts. Just my opinion.
