I had planned to keep him but I‘ve bought a new property and will be moving and won’t have time for him. He has ran loose most his life. Good in the kennel, broke to lead. Has seen two coon and went nuts on them. Layed two drags and he found and treed them both. Only been out at night once. Houndy and leggy built pup. Other than just a nice pup ready to be started this fall and Perfect age for Spring babystakes.

Paul, I’m glad you and Ken are liking your pups, I’m glad they both got to go to good hunting home. That’s the biggest battle with raising pups is getting them in good hands. Good luck, hope to hear about both these in the future.

REX ISN’T GETTING ANY YOUNGER, HE DOESNT HAVE A TON OF PUPS OF THE GROUND, BUT HAS THROWN SEVERAL THAT ARE MAKING THE RIGHT KIND, HIS PUPS SELL, HOUNDY LOOKS AND HOUND MOUTHS THAT CAN PUSH A TRACK AND HAVE THEM EYES LOOKIN DOWN. BRING THEM GOOD FEMALES!!

Good deal Joe, glad to hear that, He was off Rex and a full sister to National Ch Posted Land Bone. I’ve wondered how some off that litter was doing. I also talked to Chuck Shcmershal the other day and he was telling me about the Female he had off Rex and his Diva female that he’d sold when he started having some health issues. Chuck said she had a killer mouth and having a coon was a habit with her.

Took showtime out last night again. Solo 6 drops in 16 degrees and moonlight about 4 inches of snow. 2 coon 3 dens and one slick. First drop he was 560 yds with a double in under 3 minutes. Another drop he cold trailed a coon 700yds ended on a big den. Only 8 months old and getting it done.

Yeah he is special pup. Hunts like a bullet and great track dog and tree dog. Only 8 months but acts like he’s 2. I’ve raised and hunted some good ones and this pup is as good as any . I’ve got couple guys that want a pup off him already.

I really like my pup he was turning head's around here also. But he has Lyme's now. He is out of commission for a month.

If anyone has a Rex pup that is started I would like to get me something to hunt I can't go a whole month with out hunting. That is like quitting. Lol

After a year of planning, and 2 yrs of trying to make this cross, we finally have some pups. We have also decided to keep most of them. I have 3 females to sale. They are colored good, and will be blanket back, with red or black heads. 2 of kates pups from her first litter sold for a total of $30,000 before there first SS !!!! No smoke, Just a FACT !!! Another could not be bought after several of us begged him to sale. This will probably be kates last litter. Pups are $700 each, with a $200 deposit.

Kate is little miss coondog. I actually had her here and hunted and handled her some for Joe, I scored over 600+ with her in a 1hr pkc hunt. I won my cast at walker days with her against a dog that placed 3rd at the SS. She can hold her own and is a pleasure to hunt through the week. A lot of people look at the stud but the female also plays a huge part. Kate proved she will do her part, Her last litter has reproduced some flat coontree'ers that brought big figures if you can find one for sale. No hype, no blown smoke, This should be as good a cross as any I've made no doubt. I guess I'm partial cause I know this females capabilities. Aside from having abilities these should be some flat gorgeous, houndy pups!!

Got some reports from Bucky Pack that his 9month old REX pup was on a roll in North Carolina, treein them coon on a bad windy night!!

Can’t wait for spring, got afew more REX babies coming to run loose that should make dandy spring projects!!
