Lost puppy papers

I sold a man a puppy from a litter I raised he lost the puppy papers I have the registration number. Do I file for lost papers with the in my name the breeder or is there another route to take being the breeder and they were only puppy papers not permanent

You, as the breeder, would need to fill out one of our Applications for Duplicate Registration forms and send it in to us with $15.00. We'll then issue you another set of puppy papers and you'll sign them over to the new owner just like you did the original set.
