Three Situations / Automatic Cast Vote

In our last poll we asked how you would score a tree where two handlers voted to circle and two handlers voted to minus the tree. 13.57% voted that the hunting judge's vote would determine how it would be scored. In other words, if the judge and one other handler voted to minus the tree then there would not be a majority to overturn the judge's vote.

That would be true under most situations (takes a majority to overturn the judge's decision). However, there are three (just 3) situations that automatically go to a cast vote where the judge's vote carries no more weight than anyone else (handler) in the cast. In other words, you must have a majority of the cast vote to: 1, 2, 3.

Q: What are those three specific situations? And go......!!!

1.
2.
3.

I know there are several experts on here who will be quick to spit out those three, so I'm going to ask Jim, Joey, and Bill Harper to relax a bit and give it a day or two before you give those three we're looking for. Sorry, some are just too good to play this game and others are copying your answers. lol.

A cast vote should be able to over turn a non-hunting judges decision when scoring a tree! For example, when the non-hunting judge sees a coon further up the tree. Or when the non-hunting judge circles a blatant slick.

Scoring a tree... calling timeout... dogs returning to previously scored tree

I just love open book tests. Mr Stevens, are you real sharp or can you just read and comprehend real good?

Posted by Dogwhisper on 06-14-2018 06:44 PM:

I see 4....
1.3(a)(2)
2.4(g)
3.5(h)
4. Time outs.

Using rule #'s isn't fair. No one knows what your answers are. But your 1 and 2 are the same.

Xs 2
all other situations are made by the judge, but if questioned at the time of ruling it goes to a vote by cast members

Donnie, what about whether a dog is in a hole or not? Rule says cast can proceed to a hole if majority agrees.

Richard, where do you see the words ''majority agrees'' , or did you add them to stir the pot?

Hershell, that is just what I have always gone by. I have never seen a cast proceed to a hole unless a majority of the cast agreed to it or someone treed their dog. I guess that my reading comprehension is not that good. That maybe why I am usually wrong. And thanks for pointing that out.

I understand some people don't want their dogs treeing in holes in the dry season here we tree coons in beaver holes I can tell when a dog trees in a hole and I trash break my dogs I am treeing mine for 225+.

I think it's the judges decision if the track ended at a hole but you still need a majority to score the hole.

Tar you ain't talkin this old dog into scoring no bull frog lol

I waited a day Allen, your right Donnie its the judges decision to say the track is finished. It can also be a cast vote but it doesn't automatically go to cast vote like the other three things.

What if the judge says my dog is in a hole let's go to him but the other 3 cast members say that he isn't? Or what if 2 cast members say their dogs are in a hole but 2 say they aren't?
