They banned Lyle ???????????

I hope he's back soon, I kinda miss him. It's good to see Brush posting on here again. This new "off topic" section seems to have given Brush a little more confidence in making comments. I can't really blame him after being "encouraged" by U.K.C. to keep his political opinion to himself. If only Lyle could've held on a little longer until the new format was in place, I think he might still be with us, as it seems like the moderators are being more lenient. Thank you U.K.C.!!!

i could tell in an instant when i was reading a post by lyle. i didn't have to see the posters name. he seemed so genuine and down to earth.

Gentlemen I received a voicemail from l. lyle this morning. He told meto tell everyone that he is just fine. He has seen this post and wants to thank everyone for their kind words, however he will not be coming back. He has been banned after 5000+ post and many opportunitiesand really doesnt know why now. Anyway he appreciates all of you and your support and wishes everyone a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

I'd like to respond. I'm the moderator that banned Mr. Lyle. And I liked to read his posts also. And I think I can handle criticism when it's done with respect. But we work hard to try to be consistent and keep this forum a place where you and your families can have fun without killing it with rules in the process.

But I don't think I have to take the disrespect of someone calling me or any of the other moderators names or using abbreviated cuss words. If anyone does that they will be given a standard 30 day time out just like we have always done. At the end of that time they are welcome back. Be respectful and I'll do anything I can for you. I'm sure some of you would have a better understanding if you had to moderate this forum.

I cant imagine anyone truly being offended by Lyle, he was equally offensive to everyone. UKCs. version of Archie Bunker, and there were some tidbits of wisdom hidden beneath the surface. If Nixon could get pardoned i think Lyle deserves a break.
