Masonic Coonhunter

Yal might have read that I am getting back into coonhunting , I love to be in the woods hunting coons , deer , turkey,or fishing on a river for trout. I gaveup coonhunting to raise two little boys , that I love dearly. Now they are ten and asking me to go back hunting . I would love to pass it on to them . I like to call it the sound of music , some people say a dog can,t talk to me but I use to own some and I know some guys who have some that wil sing some of the most beauitful songs you could ever hear . But I was just wandering how many hunters was on here that are Mason's?

Not to be misunderstood

I am sory it was not that , it was just that growing up I had always heard my granddad say I have brothers every where and he would point it out to me when every we saw a mason. I always wanted to be a part of that , but granddad always said wait till you are ready. So after I went to the Marine corp and came back home things just started getting in the way .At twentyfour I thought I was not mature enough, then came my two boys , after that divorced got custody of twinboys and re-married two wonderful wife .Now at thrithyfour I firgured I would do what I have always wanted , but it just seemed like now I don't see as many as I use too. So me and my wife was sitting here reading the other night and I said let me see how many are out here . Then when everybody started to post it took me back to somewonderful moments in my life with my granddad , he past away when I was in boot camp and I miss him.......He alway said that no matter where in the world he was if he needed something someone would be there and the men who posted are from every where and alot of different lodges.........

Bradly, the Masonic Lodge isn't a religion. It's a charitable fraternity that teaches moral responsibility.

It won't save you or send you to heaven.

It will make you a better Christian if you happen to be a Christian, and a better person over all because of their teachings, but it is NOT the way of salvation.

It appears by your post that you were implying that either Christians can't be Masons, or that Masons think that the Lodge is their salvation. That's just not the case.
