Purina dog chow?

Is there a shortage of this food or what? The last couple of months its been hard to find and almost impossible now. Sams Club doesnt even list it on the site now, WalMart only has 18 lb bags for $15. Online they are listing 55 lb bags for for $65.

Hadnt seen any other post about it and just wondering if this is happening all over or what.

Seems to be plenty of it in my area, all the Stores have it stocked.

I bought Purina Dog Chow yesterday at Walmart. There was a stack of bags. $27.97 for 46 pounds. One year ago it was $23.97 for 54 pounds.

I have moved on from Dog Chow.

I believe that with the poundage reduction along with the price increase, even with the Pro Club rebate, I think their are a lot better options available now. Even if other feeds cost a little bit more money per pound they make up for it by being able to feed less feed.

I'll keep checking. Speaking of the rebates I've had issues for the last month trying to upload receipts and get correct poundage. Anybody else had these problems?

I have had to call them on a few receipts from Rural King. Other than that I haven't had any problems.
