2020 National Bluetick Days
Milton, Indiana August 5th, 6th, 7th, & 8th, 2020

5 ½ Miles South of I-70 on SR 1. Through Milton, ½ mile on Left. Or, 8 Miles North of Connersville on SR 1. Hotel & Campground information to follow when provided. See ad in July issue of Coonhound Bloodlines. Limited Camping on Grounds

August 5th, Wednesday Night Listing of Events;

• Bluetick Invitational Hunt, Entry Fee $30.00, Deadline 7:00 pm
Prize package Engraved Henry .22 Rifle, plus $250.00 cash
Invite letters will be sent to all qualified applicants in the mail

August 6th, Thursday Night Listing of Events;

• All Blue RQE Nite Hunt, World Qualifying Night Hunt
Entry Fee $35.00, Deadline 7:00 pm
• All Blue RQE Bench Show, World Qualifying Bench Show (Trophies Awarded)
Entry Fee $25.00, Deadline 4:30 pm

August 7th, Friday Night Listing of Events;

• Invitational Bench Show, Entry Fee $30.00 Deadline 3:00 pm
Prize Package Engraved Henry .22 Rifle
• UKC Bench Show 4:30 pm deadline, entry fee $25 pictures to follow show
• Nite Hunt 7:00 pm, entry fee $35, 2 HR hunt, awards presented following morning at 12:00 pm followed by pictures
• Board of Directors meeting 1:00 pm Location announced and posted on Grounds

August 8th, Saturday Listing of Events;

• New for 2020 - UKC Coonhound Confirmation Show Double Header, 8:00-9:00 entry taking deadline is 9:00 am, entry fee $25 advanced entry (see UKC site) $20.00. Ring 1- 9:30am start, and Ring 2 - 10:00 am start. Overall Winner Grooming Table for each of 2 shows. More prizes to be listed

• Membership meeting at 1:30 pm memberships checked at the door
• Bench Show 4:30 pm deadline, entry fee $25, King & Queen will be picked after the Show from Friday’s and Saturdays entries, followed by Pictures. Prize package BBOA Belt Buckles for King & Queen, Special Show Basket with $150.00 in merchandise, $150.00 Cash for King & Queen.
• Nite Hunt 7:00 pm deadline, entry fee $35, King & Queen will be determined at the completion of the hunt deadline followed by pictures. Prize package BBOA Belt Buckle for King & Queen, Dog House by Greg Nolley Z-Lock and $300.00 Cash for King & Queen.

• Overall Off Breed High Scoring Dog (Double Cast Win Over Single Cast Win) Trophy,
Dog House by Greg Nolley Z-Lock, and $300 Cash

• Overall Hunt Winner of any breed from Purina $750.00 Double Cast win over single cast win

• Overall Show Winner of any breed from Purina $250.00 Judging will be completed after King & Queen of Show are selected.

• Purina Dog Food for Winners of Show & Hunt Events

• Awards for Nite Hunts; 1st & 2nd GR Nite Ch, 1st & 2nd Nite CH, 1st through 5th Registered, Dog Food for above and 6th through 10th Registered

All is contingent that Indiana Health Law allows gathering needed for this event, and status of the Corona-19 status throughout the country. We are hopeful that things will settle down and this event will go on as planned

Just about got everything ordered and on the way for this years NATIONAL BLUETICK DAYS HUNT & SHOW !!

not complaining just checking dead line for RQE is 3hr. before dark? I have to try to work that day for as long as i can.

Mark, yes it is 7:00 pm and reason is due to the UNKNOWN we want to give guides, hunters and the club plenty of time to move about and get to their locations prior to being dark so we don't loose folks or have anyone getting lost.

It may seem like a inconvenience but it is a small one for all and for those trying to make sure a quality event goes off without much confusion or problems it felt like a good thing to do.

Of course we will evaluate everything this weekend and make adjustments for next year.

Sunset will be 8:51 pm that day, and the moon will be 99% illuminated at 9:53 pm. I like the 7 pm deadline time. Gives the club time to prepare score cards, and time for casts to get to hunting spots early.

Who showed up & drew out together? Who won & what were scores?

Would have been there, but transmission went out of truck on way home from Trader hunt last weekend, so am going to miss all the fun this weekend. Take care, Ron.

I know Abby won Queen, Congratulations Eddie Green. Jerrold Parker was handler. Abby is from a litter of nice hounds that can win by treeing coon.
