Dog chewing feet ???

This is off topic but i have a 3 yr old Bichon/Shih-Tsu that was recently groomed and since the minute she got home has licked and bitten her feet nonstop. Anyone ever saw a dog do this and know why ? Thanks for any input !

She could have picked up a yeast infection from the grooming table if they weren't careful to sanitize between dogs.

I would say razor burn is the issue.

You might look into Atopic Dermatitis. I have a dog that starts licking and chewing on his pads each year around Late August/September. He would do it to the point that he would barely walk. Tried changing foods to grain free, tried prednisone, tried Benedryl. Finally tried the cytopoint shot. It stops almost immediately. I usually just get him 1 shot instead of the series they recommend. You might try looking up Apoquel pills as well. Good luck.

Could be any of the above. Can you see any rash, irritation or smell of any kind?

YEAST

Sounds alot like a yeast infection, will likely require systemic ketonazole treatment for a while.

I'm old school. Try a clorox and water solution. You might be suprised.
