Unwanted breeding
Anything to stop a dog from getting pregnant once it's been bred? Vets won't do anything but spay. Any old tricks out there?
Morning after pill 😂.... no really just keep one and hope it’s a good one!

The vets have a shot they can give the female within a 24hr period after there bred, but some of them unwanted breedings make jam up coon dogs

Look up Lutalyse.
I would strongly urge you not to use lutalyse. It could have very serious implications on the dogs health and personality. I made the mistake one time, messed my dog up for a year. Don't interfere with mother nature. Let her have them.
Dexamethazone
Definitely a shot a vet can give on the third day after the breeding, but these days you better have a good old school vet or they will just tell you all they can do is spay.

I give them the same shot I give old sows to get them to abort, or if overdue to get them to pig.
If you do give anything to abort keep a close eye on the dog for signs of pyometra (infection in her uterus) afterward. She might just get quiet like she's depressed or could start drinking a lot more, vomiting or having discharge. It can come on fast and be deadly if not treated right away.
