Coon hunting keeping you out of trouble

I don't even come close to trouble theses days. When I was a young man I can think of several times that coon hunting kept me out of trouble. One night a friend of mine got the keys to his gf dads truck long story short him and two othere friends got locked up. There was a big party one night in the neighborhood i grew up in I left early to hunt long story short half the people there got locked up the othere half went to the hospital.....I could go on and on with nights just like this and I know I'm not the only one out there

P,s I did get in to my share of trouble but coon hunting did help alot..

First wife hated coon hunting. Ended up divorced. But found a woman that hunts with me, helps take care of them, loves puppies. Coon hunting kept me from a life of misery..lol

Yes

When I was young, anytime I was coonhunting, (which was quite a bit) avoided trouble of one kind or another. Glad I had this hobby
during those years.

I spent most my adult life locked up. In and out in and out never out longer than a year. I got out this time in 2013 got a dog, a light and an Astro 220. Never had been in a comp hunt in my life. But had hunted as a kid for fun. I probably ain’t missed 200 nights total in those 5 yrs. I hunt hard. People ask me if I’m going my reply is I have to.
I have won over $50,000 in those in 5 yrs. but the main reason I’m out here is cause I have to be.

I have to admit it saved me from much of the party life and helped keep me out of trouble as well.

Knowing right from wrong kept me out of trouble. Nights I didnt coon hunt I never had the urge to break the law.

Jason/ole hoss

Glad you turned your life around, it's not what you have done, it's more what you are doing now that matters. You are never to old to start doing right, sounds like you are on the right track. Dave
