Tried something new to me..

Rained all day yesterday then cooled off some and rain slowed to a mist, so I carried my dog and a pup and cut loose an hour before dark...20 minute later he's treed with a coon....didn't need a light. ...treed 2 more after that

It's not getting dark till almost 9:00 now you think it's more about what time they come down instead of what time it gets dark ? One time me and a buddy took two young dogs out on an island out in the middle of the lake to break them off of deer and it was noon and they treed a couple coons.

Sow coon move a lot in the day time when they are raising kittens. We have been going fishing down in the bottoms and have seen a couple very trip.

That's one of the reasons I went....my uncle had told me last week that coons where hitting his feeders about an hour before dark....it was fun lookin for the coon with out a light, but not as easy to find as I thought....
