He's a coondog!! Hunted with him several times, but unfortunately from what a couple people that owned him has said.. He don't reproduce very well.

How many

Pups does he have on the ground. How many are out of a quality female. Selectively picking a decent female makes a big difference. I have one that I'm trying to sell that was headed in the right direction but coyotes took care of that. I'm probably going to end up keeping him, just because I love his intensity. As far as PKC earnings, who gives a crap about that, I will never put a hound in a PKC hunt. So the numbers could be skewed there. .

Outsider Pups

My Grand Nt. Ch. Deventers Penney is out of Outsider. She is 5 years old. She is also out of Gr.Nt.Ch. Deventers Roxy. She won the Grandmasters last year and the first round this year. Made it to the zones 4 years in a row. She usually dominates a cast as she is an honest first strike and first treedog. Never seen her ran ahead of on any kind of a track. Strikes the first coon she comes to and trees it. I never hunted with her mother Roxy, but have been told that she was similar. The Outsider contributed half the DNA that Penney has so if he was crossed on a top female I'm sure he would reproduce. I've never hunted with the Outsider. The best part about Penney is that she is reproducing her ability. I have 6 month old double grandsons to her that are treeing their own coon. It was an accidental cross by littermates out of Penney. There is a lot of information under "Dogs and Pups for sale" on here under Deventers Penney. Duane Kreklow's Rocket dog got killed at a UKC hunt. He sent me a video of 4 month old Turbo treeing his first night in the woods. He is a younger brother to Rocket. I'd say the Outsider is a reproducer, but he can't carry the whole load.
