R.i.p. Riverbend Blue Smoke
It sure was hard getting over losing my dear friend smoke,He would sure fire up the woods when you cut him loose with a deep bawl on track and a long locate you could hear a mile away on a calm cool winter night, and he would belly up to a tree and be there all nite if he had to,I am sure at a loss without him.He passed 12-1-13 with a twisted stomach, I haven't stepped in the woods since.I have a 7 mo.old male pup out of him that is coming on strong. Here is a few pics of him since I raised him from a pup.

Bo
Took Bo and my daugthers 6 mo. old female pup out of Dutch x Belle.Cut them loose and they struck in about 200 yds must have been a old track they couldn't ever get a tree.I like the way the pups worked they never checked back in had to catch them at the end of the ditch they do have the drive to keep going. Will try again tonite.
Thanks midnite and Heather and Bob.

Last nite
Cut Bo loose again last nite with a older female,Bo struck once at 350 yds. And pulled up tree at 390 yds got to the tree and the older female started treeing with him, He was holding his ground with the older female. It was a den tree with the coon on the outside, fed him the meat.Turn loose in another ditch and it was a dry run went to the house.
