I'm not sure exactly what your looking for. To me tree happy could be bad, causing a dog to pull up short. But Hard Treeing, well, I have a gyp for GRNITE CH RED ROCKER(Sammy), that will pull 125-130 bpm on a tree and rub the hair off her chest doing it. Toenails dug in bark stipping, slobber mouthed tree dog. I realy wish she would lighten up just a little at time. It's rough on her in the heat. I don't think you can beat Hoffmeister, or Pepper breading.

Yah JT I understand what ur sayingabout treeing to much. But to me the red dogs have plenty ofo track power but they tree the last coon up and I'm wanting to try to help there treeing ability by trying to breed for a first coon up dog. But the 2 breeds that u r talking about is the better red dogs at getting treed so far. I have a great looking male dog who has won on national level shows and I just made him a Nite champion so I am trying to find the best female with looks and gets treef quick.
MOST RED DOG GUY'S I HAVE BEEN ARROUND ARE NOT GOING TO KEEP A DOG THAT TREES THE LAST COON UP, GOOD INDICATOR IS THE SIZE COON YOU ARE TREEING
