Didn't realize the can of worms this opened.

My apologies.

So if you "cull" the dog, are you planning on keeping your mouth shut about it and not telling anyone? You still produced a cull even if you choose not to fix it and give it away as a pet.... Culls happen in breeding programs.. That is why they are removed from it.. Not all the dogs make it.. Are you going to be honest about it?

I'm using "you" as a general term for anyone- so I'm not trying to point fingers...

If the dog is sound of mind and has the temperment to make a pet and you can find a responsible person who can handle a hound as a pet, let it be a pet... Not all dogs (hound or not) should be pets...

Why even ask the question? How anyone chooses to cull is a personnel decision. How you or I choose to handle it isn't open to discussion. That would be my answer

Those houndsmen made their names by being hunters first , then breeders .... breeding dogs first ,and then trying to be a hunter never works .... the people who do it get their names known , but usually as the butt of jokes ..... the universe has made sure that you can't just show up and take a shortcut .... you gotta have the passion for hunting and pay your dues .... then you might have success.

Keep this trash off the forum. Anybody that has any sense knows what should be done. This post sounds suspicious to me. Just what the antis need to see

Are you breeding to become popular or to produce dogs that work for you? We have enough "famous" retards that think they are breeders.....you really wouldn't be setting yourself apart from most? The irony is that you invest your time and money to be a coonhound household name yet end up being like the rest of the peddlers. Pretty lofty goal if you ask me.

X2

If you have to ask dumbass questions like this, you sure don't need to be breeding hounds.....
