Retriever Dog Food
I know. Not another dog food question!!!!
But, I just recently picked up some Retriever 27 15 dog food from Tractor Supply as kind of a mixer to go with what I had been feeding. I liked the results so I just went to feeding the Retriever without mixing it with the other feed. So far the dogs look really good on it. Anyone else feeding it?

dog food
I fed the green bag for a year and the dogs did good till I started runnin' em real hard so I went to the blue I've been feedin it for about a year now and the dogs look good and feel good.
Honestly I thought it was one of the worst feeds I have ever tried. I wont even feed it to my yard dogs that run loose.
My dogs didn't like to eat it but would if it sit in their bowl long enough, didn't keep them in good hunting shape, and had some of the most inconsistent stool I have ever seen.
This was with the blue bag that is the high protein, 27-18 are something like that.

I had a guy tell me that there are 2 feeds you feed if you hate your dog, Ol Roy and Retriever lol. I have heard of a few that liked Retriever as well. I didn't like it but the dogs ate it up. I feed FRM and Sportsman Pride 26/18

Thanks for the replies. So far, my dogs look real good on the feed, eating normal amounts and maintaining weight and their coats are shiny. I have a friend that mixes a couple different feeds together and his dogs always look good. I bought the retriever to mix with other feed myself and the dogs looked better but I decided to try the retriever by itself. So far, so good, but wanted to see what others thought. Doesn't sound good.
