Your buddy that was with ya last weekend, did his dog get hit in the road ??

Sad to say that she did!I don't think it was ment for that hound to come out of those woods.To sum it up,my son was the handler for her in a UKC hunt last weekend and on the last drop he felt like the Garmin collar was too tight.He did'nt get it buckled and she lost her collar.She split from the others and we could not find her.That was around 11:00 pm last Sat. night.Between three of us we stayed there until 10:00 pm Sun.Monday evening we were back until dark,I then went back for some more hounds to drop hope'in she would come in to them but it rained us out.In the meantime we had contacted all the local radio stations,animal control,and all the nieghbors in the area,she also had lighted collars on.We were back Tuesday,at dark I was pull'in up with more hounds to drop and Randy stopped me.He got off the phone with an upset young lady that had just hit her about 2 miles down the road.The hound was killed instantly and the young lady did'nt get hurt.

Yeah,she was Randy's.It was the first comp. hunt that him or the hound both had been to.

Thank's Gaines and shuss,I'll be sure to let Randy know.Yeah,the young lady was tore up really bad.You could tell it was 100% accidental.I'm glad she did'nt get hurt and at least it was quick and he knows what happened to his hound.
