Rock Hard hounds losses our ol man

Rock passed away last night very unexpectantly, My dad went out yesterday afternoon to feed him, he didnt want to come out of his house but after a lil he finaly came out. dad said he was really weak and only drank a lil and didnt eat. He was starting to go limp. He finaly made it back in his house, when my dad went out to check on him before he went to bed Rock had already passed away. Rock was the best houd we will ever have. He passed away at the age of 9. We are the only owners hes ever known as we got him when he was just 2 months old at the 2001 ashland spring hunt. It sure wont be the same around the kennel without ol Rock.

RIP Our Ol Buddy!

Most of us know how that feels Jarrod and it ain't no fun. It's the price we pay for owning a great dog. Sorry to hear that though.

So SORRY!

Jarrod, and family... we send our thoughts and prayers! So glad Bob and I got to see him and meet him at A.O.... he was a wonderful dawg. My old blue has been showing some age and I've been thinking a whole lot about loving the old ones... it can be rough to say good bye BUT... the time spent with them sure is special. You guys gave that awesome blue dawg a GREAT life and you were lucky to have shared it with him!

SIncerely sorry, Heather and bob

Jarrod Tod K is exactly right. Sorry for your lost. I am a very stong believer in that for every door that closes another will open. That is why god only maid dog live 8 or 10 years so that we could enjoy several.

Jarrod so sorry to hear about Rock I know how hard it is to lose such a special hound .
I worry about our Rock (walker) everyday John doesnt show alot of feeling towards the hounds but I know the ole man holds John's heart in his paw and dread the day when he to will cross over to the other side to run with other great hounds like your Rock and my Ladyhawk .
Keep your chin up and enjoy Jessie she will keep your memories with Rock alive and she is such a nice lil female hope someday to draw out with her and see her hunt
