need help dog a little loose on tree

I got a bluetick female about 14 months old lately shes really been going good strikeing and running track and treeing even a couple of splits. the only problem i have with her im not sure if this is a problem yet but when she trees sometimes its a steady bawl she will tree belly up consistent other times its jumping 4 ft up the tree chewing on anything near the tree when shot out shes the first one on it she's heavy utcham bred do yall think its a problem or should i just leave her alone and let her do her thing.

I would tie her to a sapling near the tree, that way when she tries to jump the leash will jerk her back down and help teach her not to jump.

Good advice, Alot of tree problems could be avoided if every dog was tied at every tree every time.

always, always,always

tie a dog at the tree, Did I mention ALWAYS ??? More crap is started at a tree because a hunter is too busy looking for a coon than handling their hound... STUPID !! walk in deal with the dog by tying them and then look for a coon....

i usually do tie my old dogs at the tree i was alway told a pup cant learn much tied at another tree. but i will start doing it i dont mind it if im by myself but i dont want to start a fight between another dog.

I believe it was Scott's or something like that that used to sell a harness that when they jump it would snatch the bacl legs out from under them. Wouldn't take them long to learn not to jump. Seen one ten yrs. ago in action.

you better fix the problem now or when they get older it gets alot worse. Ive got a 7 yr old that will do back flips off the tree
