looking for a good frogleg boot

I am tired of busting my butt with thse slippery muck boots.I tried the alpha lites and poked a gash in the ankle where the neopreme meets the rubber. Is there a tough boot that is not like walking ice out there?

Man I love my Muck Boots. I have the woody armour boots and may be a little tougher. They are snake proof so it might have something to do with it. I am in the south and do not have to worry about ice though..just mud. Goodluck but seems best thing going is Muck unless those Deweys are any good.

I don't know what kind of tread you have on your Muck boots to call them 'slippery'. I have a pair of Muckmasters and they have just about as agressive a tread as any boot I've seen. They are far from slippery. Muck's 'Woody' boots have the same tread as far as I can tell looking at them online. I noticed on their website that Muck has it's own hip boot. Mine are tough as well. I really don't see how anyone could want more from a rubber boot than these are. I don't know what some of you are doing with your boots to destroy them unless you are using them for something other than footwear. Maybe a tread plate to get your truck out of a bog or to fight off gators or bear?
