The story of the "Shotty" Club
So, we are members of a Club (If that is what you want to call it) that NEVER follows through with what they say. They pick favorites, there is different punishment for the same offense, the meeting minutes are altered after the meeting is adjourned, the items that are voted on and entered into the meeting minutes are not followed through with and changed after the meeting is adjourned.
So my question is, What would it take to shut a club down? Suggestions, comments and questions appreciated.
Thanks,
The Wife of Ukc_Hunter
Not sure on that, I guess you would file a complaint against the club to UKC. or you could contact Todd Kellum on the matter. Hope this helps and good luck. Larry

I would think you would need PROOF that this is happening, before filing a complaint. If the minutes are read from the previous meeting and no one calls them on the lies, they get approved to read as they stand. Someone has got to stand up and say 'Hey, thats not what was said last time!' Take a small hand held tape recorder in for the next meeting, then at the following meeting, if the minutes have been altered, you have the proof you need. THEN file a complaint. Sounds like you need to clean house of your officiers and elect ones that going to do the job right. If you can't stand up to what is right, you can't complain. Those little tape recorders don't cost much and neither do the tapes for in them. Tape the meeting and then for the next meeting, if things don't jive, play the tape for them. That might get them back on the straight and narrow.

Check this thread out and maybe you can get caught up with the story.

Dang, that crap should have gotten him barred. If you have enough people who will sign a statement as to what happened, I'd turn the SOB in for sure. People like that is what gives good guys a bad name!
You should have filed a complaint right away, instead of later. Memories get fuzzy with time and people lose their nerve to stand up for what is the right thing to do. I'd still file a complaint, just for the sake of it. It could or probably happen again if he gets away with it.
Also, the MOH wasn't doing has job very good either to let this happen at the club house both during your hunt and after your hunt was over. Something needs said on his part too.
