Young dogs Lite goes off......

My year old walker female i been showing since i got her finaly opened on track tonite on two of the 3 tracks.....second track she opened first and gave plenty mouth,,, her and two other dogs took the trial to the left and another dog went to the right...... he treed,,,,, and they brought the track back toards the first dog treed ,i was down in the creek shining and they stopped and got on the tree with the one already treed....not real happy bought that but things happen... .3rd turnout we were headed out and my buds dog struck out the box...... so went and turned him loose and let him line it out..... turned the others loose,,,,,, the all opened up quick.....trailed about 1/4 mile Carolina gave good mouth and was leading the race a few times.... she was barkin up some on the tree,, when we got there in the mule (drove right up to it they were treed on the road right off the creek) she came off and came to me but ran right back......... was real excited and bouncing around...tried to git her back to treeing she just jumped around tryin to smell....took us about 10 minutes to find the coon..... i dont normaly shoot out coons in this place but we thought it would sure help my young dog... one shot.... the coon shook and lodged..........dang the luck.......i think the lite is finaly going off in her head........ she was going out with the dogs for i had my surgeries and was layed up for nearly two months......... just super glad she did as good as she did tonite............ shes goes back to Lipper in the 3rd generation then Stylish Cade... then Lippers Stylish Creed.....top side..

HEather...... Carolina has the pedigree behind her to make it....but we know pedigrees are just that......but its dern shore great to see a young one lite up........

im just glad im able to be back in the woods.......

nothing gets me more fired up about coonhunting than having a young prospect turn it on. that first track bark and that first tree just make you feel like you did something right.
