Well just visit my website listed below to learn about the River Bend dogs. As far as their history here it goes. Kent Spencer crossed his old female River Bend Dixie with Normans Coon Stopper which reproduced RB Joe which Joe was only bred one time and that was to RB Queenie who produced RB Flag. Flag from what I understand is one of the few dogs in the area that was a stay put tree dog which led people to breed to him and he was the only one in the litter that was nite hunted. Kent wasnt aware as to what he had at the time so he really didnt mind whether anyone bred to him and when someone wanted to breed to him he was picky as to if the female was any good. As far as the "New Stuff" as I call it River Bend Thunder is no longer with us which is a big loss not only for the River Bend Breed but for the Walker breed in general. There is a pup currently in Michigan owned By Kent Spencer or Mike Kammer and he will flat out tree you a coon by himself with no help and is only 9 1/2 months old and has been doin it since he was around 6months old. His name is River Bend Flash and he is out of River Bend Thunder and Mikes Coon Crazy Kitty. The Thunder and Kit cross just seemed to click because that cross was made two times and every single pup is treeing itself now. Like I mentioned above Thunder is dead and Mikes Coon Crazy Kitty died the same day that Thunder did so these pups are the last of their kind. So from what I know as of now I believe the River Bend dogs are making a comeback and everyone will be hearing from them in the near future.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong....... Doesn't Clover have RiverBend Flag and Logan's Wild Julie in his pedigree?????

Clover does not have any "Flag"

You are thinking of Wessel's Wild Casey...He was out of Clover and Logan's Wild Jeanie...who was a daughter of Flag, and a half sister to Logan's Wild Julie (both being out of Maglill's Lone Pine Jill).....Logan's Wild Julie was a daughter of Finley River Dan

Something else alot of people dont notice is Sackett Jr had some "Flag" in him. Wipeout dogs do too through Flatrock Sheena. Also Bellars Lonesome Saigon and Bellars Psycho go back to Flag.

Oak Ridge - Dummy, me. I knew there was a connection, but, I wasn't sure without my papers in front of me(I was at work). I have a Grand Nite out of Casey(Grand Nite Tallon's Wild Cal) and I knew Flag was in there somewhere.

GoldCh Grnitech Coon Waxer is double bred flag Pulpwood's Image X River Bend Abby. He is one of the best dogs I have ever been in the woods with and he is throwing some nice pups to. One of his pups just finished 2nd in the spring junior SS this was one of his oldest litters. They are around 2 1/2 now.
