they should be able to make you a new transmitter for the collars

thanks! didnt know that, could collar clinic do that or would i have to go to tritronics?

it was a tri tronics multi-sport 3.... ideally id like to be able to take the remaining collars and have the insides redone and get sommore range out of em because they were pretty much worthless in the woods before... can it be done?

Call TriTrinics. I think you will find out you now have three worthless collars.

I'd call Tritronics and ask the customer service people. I went through it with Dogtra years back and they were able to help. I beleive they can tune a transmitter to a collar using the collars' serial number. I doubt they can adjust the range but you could ask them. Let us know how you make out.

If it is the new EXP you can program collars to any transmitter !!!

Amanda I just checked my collars, I have a 2 dog trash breaker system (It's a G2 but not the EXP ) Anyway, I looked under the strap where it wraps around the receiving unit and there's a long series of numbers on the receiver. I would certainly say they could use those numbers to program a transmitter for you. I think you'll be all set.

Do you have a holster for your transmitter? I've always used them, the kind that use a snap to hold the transmitter in place. Pain to get in and out, but I've never had to speed draw mine like wild Bill Hickock lol. It'll keep your new one from falling out somewhere. I could probably get in a wrestling match with bigfoot and lose all my teeth but that transmitter would still be on my belt! haha. Good luck.

ive been meaning to get a holster for my trashbreaker, the multisport dosnt have the range so i dont even use it really. id loaned it out to a friend and got a longer range shocker. you could throw the transmitter and hit em in the head with it farther than you could shock em with the multisport. now that that ones gotten lost i need to break down and order one because id hate to loose the trashbreaker- it mostly sits in the truck but id like to have a holster anyway... becareful with those wrestling matches- i hear bigfoots got a temper
