Man, I am going to fall into this question that you have asked just for the sake of conversation and please just remember that this an opinion and only that.....but I would tell you based on what I know......it takes a family to impact a breed......what I mean by this is where do you start, and where does it end, when you are talking about "impact on a breed".....please understand that I am not trying to be funny here....I truly believe that the culmination of a related family that exist generation to generation finally has an overwhelming impact on what people hunt.... that is where the real impact lies. There are several studs living today that have proven themselves in the sense that they have reproduced reproducers both male and female.I could call the name of a particular stud that I really like the traits that he and his family have produced, but I will just leave his name out of it to help with making the point.......... it takes a family to impact a breed....not just one dog.........

Smith's Streak...
....Had the single biggest impact on the Mtn. Cur breed to date. Some will say that's not necessarily a good thing, but me, personally, I will always try to keep some in my dogs as best I'm able so as to hopefully achieve a more balanced Cur.
Mark.

"TREE DOGS ARE BORN NOT MADE"
Bubba Charles, McDowells Old Bounce was used by everybody and their brother, be they Cur or Feist men. Folks will have to assume that the pic is that of Old Bounce.

Not only the streak line but several other lines of mt curs have this old dog's blood running through their veins. You just won't see him on paper!!
A truely great reproducer of 'TREE DOGS'!!
I had a nice vist with this ole dog many moons ago and one I will not forget!! He was special!!

Mike you are describing the Kemmer dogs as well as the OMCBA dogs, other cur breeds, all breeds of feist as well as many mixed breeds!!
The Big IMPACT is happening now and has been happening for 50 plus years.
Like Mark said, you need to keep up!!!
