What happened to all of the PKC dogs that made it to the finals?

Ole Speck did make it throught the final 20 and treed a coon when hunted by himself. Unlike some dogs we hear about all the time

One placed 2nd and won it last year. Another placed 6th. You tell me what happened to them all. I know for a fact that those two are hunted in PKC. I use to own one of them.

I think Jane is titled out in UKC. What has she done in PKC?

Top 16 in the state of Missouri this year. She has around $800 won this year.

It is pretty good when you're trying to get a dog qualified and ready to repeat in the UKC world hunt.

At least they dont have a hired handler on her. Maybe if they would hire someone as a fulltime, expenses-paid handler she could have won more.

Maybe she hasn't been in to many. You or alot of us don't know how many hunts she has been in. That is just that last update, i am sure she has more than that. The computer or the magazine is up to date.

Also, most people who are really trying to win the state race will sit down and figure out a month or 2 thatc they can take off work and hit a hunt every night. So yes, people have won alot more than $800 in a month, but there arent many dogs that win $800+ every month.

Most are not hunting local hunts either. They are hitting hunts that have an added purse of $500 and up as often as possible. Now i dont know what hunts or how many they have hunted her in, but at least they dont have a hired gun hunting her. By the way, Russ and Jess have been in the final 4 of the world hunt in 2001, 2005, and 2006. 3 of the last 6 final cast, and either Jess or Russ were handling. I dont PR Pencil can say that for himself.

Jane has proven herself a force to recon with in PKC as well. I dont know myself how many they have had her in, but she has won her share.

Consider this, at the local level PKC hunts around here, you can draw Jane, Jet, Ruby, Skuna River Ruby,Kansas Marti, Kansas Gem, and lots more. This is at a hunt that might have 8-12 dogs total. Now thats what I call stacked casts.

Also, she isnt much more than a pup herself. 1 wld ch title, and a 2nd place finish back to back. Heck I'll take one just like her.

What was she bred to? I'd say those will make some fine puppies. Wouldn't care one bit to train one myself.

PR all you have to do is take 25.00 dollars and that wonderful dog you got and you can find out about the PKC dogs from first hand knowledge, I will promise you will get 100 percent from PKC dog and PKC handlers.

PKC is still the place to be!!!!!!
